This is the FIRST time I'm doing this...

This is rough, wearing your heart on your sleeve for all to see. But what the hell, the link is here & I may as well make good use of it.

Well, it's hard to believe it's almost been a year since my site went up. I've been getting good feedback because of it. Very encouraging & inspiring. Quite a few thank yous are in order. In particular, the one who is responsible for getting this thing up in the first place & helping me design it. Jason, thank you so much for all your help, talent, patience (lol) & knowhow. I will never forget what you've done for me, believe it. My friends, colleagues & family, I have no words. They alone cannot express the gratitude I feel towards them all. Eternally grateful. And to all the people who've visited, complimented & commented (you know who you all are): a BIG thank you. You've no idea what your support means to me.

Ok, now onto the nitty-gritty.

Recently, I've been on a sort of creative "sabbatical", hence the elongated delay of updates. However, that's gonna be changing REAL soon. New stuff is gonna be going up in the weeks to come. The juices are beginning to flow again & I could not be more grateful & excited. I can't wait to have something new to show!

Awright, I can't think of anything more to type, so I guess that means it's time to get back to work. I'll think of more to say later...

Man, this journal shit is sorta fun! Shoulda started using this a long time ago! lol!

It's HAPPENING. It's official...

My artwork - officially published. I can't believe it. Just found out today. I was checking my e-mail, nothing special, when all of a sudden, I see this new one pop up with the subject heading, "Artwork submission". I thought it was a rejection. I go to open it, and lo and behold - "CONGRATULATIONS! We would like to publish "Lollipop" in our June issue of blah, blah, blah...". Sent me a contract & everything. This is so weird for me. But I'm happy. I'm just getting bruised from all this "pinching" myself... lol! This is so cool...
